To enforce our branch office in Dublin, Ohio we are looking for a CAE Project Engineer (m/f) for finite element simulations at the next possible entry date.

The opening is an entry-level position with our CAE team in Ohio which is part of the US-European DYNAmore Group. You will be working on CAE projects either from our office in Dublin, Ohio or directly on site at the premises of our customers in the Columbus region. You will be given the opportunity to develop further skills and gain experience across a wide range of automotive and non-automotive CAE projects.

Your responsibilities will mostly include, but are not limited to, explicit crash analysis and passive safety simulations. Within customer projects you will analyze mechanical problems, build reliable finite element models, solve problems using the finite element software LS-DYNA as well as present and discuss the results to our customers. Over time you will develop skills that allow you to work self-reliant on customer projects as well as support our customers in using the the solver LS-DYNA.
- Recent or upcoming graduate in mechanical or civil engineering or related fields
holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Above-average academic performance in core engineering disciplines like
applied mechanics, statics or materials theory.
Your preferred qualifications
- Determined interest in finite element analysis and enthusiasm to grow in this domain.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with LS-Dyna, LS-Prepost, LS-Opt, ANSA, PRIMER, ... are beneficial but not required.
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages is helpful.
- Ability to travel may be required.
